In this example, we will scale an Entuity installation up to support 800 OSs per Entuity polling server. When installing Entuity, it is essential to ensure that the server is sized correctly, and that the software is configured correctly to suit the server specifications. You will need to make configuration changes in order to match the software to the server specifications.
For our example, our AWS-based polling server is used exclusively for server OS monitoring and has the following specifications:
- c6i.4xLarge virtual machine
- 16 cores
- 32GB RAM
