Introduction:
The Pollers tab under the User Defined REST Polling page is where you can view your user defined REST pollers.
This tab displays a table of your user defined REST pollers, providing information in the following possible columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Name | name as specified in the Poller Name field of the General tab. |
Poller | Entuity v20.0 P03 upwards. Poller type, either attributes or sub components. |
Revision | poller's current revision. |
Context Type | device type specified in the Context Type field of the General tab. |
Component Type | component type specified in the Connection URL field of the Step tab. |
Description | user-specified description |
Step Names | number and names of the steps in the poller. |
Last Modified | time and date the poller was last modified. |
Modified By | user who last modified the poller. |
Enabled | whether the poller is enabled. |
To view user defined REST pollers:
- Click the Main Menu and then Administration.
- On the Administration page, click User Defined REST Polling.
- On the User Defined REST Polling page, navigate to the Pollers tab. The table on this page will display the user defined REST pollers that you have created.
To enable/disable a user defined REST poller:
By default, user defined REST pollers are enabled upon being saved and created.
- Navigate to the Pollers tab under the User Defined REST Polling page.
- Select the poller(s) that you want to enable/disable, and click Enable/Disable Poller(s) (from the right-click context menu or the Overflow Menu) as appropriate.
To edit user defined REST pollers:
- Navigate to the Pollers tab under the User Defined REST Polling page.
- From the table, select the poller you want to edit and click Edit Poller at the top of the page (or via the Overflow Menu or right-click Context Menu).
- This will take you to the General tab for the selected poller. Please see this article for further help and information on creating a user defined REST poller.
To delete user defined REST pollers:
- Navigate to the Pollers tab under the User Defined REST Polling page.
- From the table, select the poller you want to delete and click Delete Poller at the top of the page (or via the Overflow Menu or right-click Context Menu).
- A confirmation dialog will open. Click Yes.
