How do I view storage performance data?

Storage Summary - applicable to Views. Displays a summary of all managed storage devices:

• Storage Device Status - this is a Pie Chart dashlet. This dashlet displays a count of all storage devices with a breakdown by status.
• Manufacturer Summary - this is a Pie Chart dashlet. This dashlet displays a count of all storage devices with a breakdown by manufacturer.
• Storage Devices - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the storage devices in the selected View.
• Storage Pools - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the storage pools on the storage devices in the selected View.
• Volumes - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the volumes on the storage devices in the selected View.
• LUNs - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the LUNs on the storage devices in the selected View.

Storage Device Summary - applicable to a storage device:

• Key Info - this is a Key Info dashlet. This dashlet displays information about and the status of the selected storage device.
• Open Incidents - this is an Incidents Summary dashlet. This dashlet displays a pie chart of the incidents by severity level on the selected storage device.
• Events Over Time - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet displays a history of the events on the selected storage device.
• Physical Disks - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the physical disks on the selected storage device.
• R/W IOPS - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the IOPS Read (5 mins) and IOPS Write (5 mins) attributes on the selected storage device.
• Capacity - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the Used Capactiy (5 mins) and Remaining Capacity (5 mins) attributes on the selected storage device.
• Throughput - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the MBps Read (5 mins) and MBps Write (5 mins) attributes on the selected storage device.

Storage Pool Summary - applicable to HW Storage Pools on a storage device:

• Key Info - this is a Key Info dashlet. This dashlet displays information about and the status of the selected storage pool.
• R/W IOPS - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the IOPS Read (5 mins) and IOPS Write (5 mins) attributes on the selected storage pool.
• Capacity - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the Used Capactiy (5 mins) and Remaining Capacity (5 mins) attributes on the selected storage pool.
• Physical Disks - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the physical disks to which the selected storage pool belongs.
• Volumes - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the volumes on the selected storage pool.
• LUNs - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the LUNs on the selected storage pool.

Volume Summary - applicable to HW Volumes on a storage device:

• Key Info - this is a Key Info dashlet. This dashlet displays information about and the status of the selected LUN.
• Shares - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the shares by which the volume is exported.
• R/W IOPS - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the IOPS Read (5 mins) and IOPS Write (5 mins) attributes of the selected volume.

• Hard/Soft Error Count - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the Hard Error Count (5 mins) and Soft Error Count (5 mins) attributes on the selected physical disk.
• Latency - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the latency ms (5 mins) on the selected physical disk.
• R/W IOPS - this is a Chart dashlet. This dashlet details the IOPS Read (5 mins) and IOPS Write (5 mins) attributes of the selected physical disk.
