Introduction

A custom webhook event is generated by custom webhooks according to the webhook rules specified for each individual webhook event and is listed on the Events tab of the Custom Webhook page. 

Note, this table does not list instances of events that are generated, but rather details the specified webhook event definitions themselves.

Also note that a custom webhook event is different from an out-of-the-box Entuity event or a custom Entuity event.

To edit a custom webhook event:

1. Navigate to the Events tab of the Custom Webhooks page.
2. If you don't have a multi-server environment, skip to the next step. Otherwise, from the Server/Configuration Set dropdown field at the top-left of the page, select the server or configuration set for which you want to edit a webhook event.

3. From the table, select the custom webhook event that you want to edit, and click Edit Event at the top of the tab (or from the Overflow Menu or right-click Context Menu).
   Note, if the custom webhook event that you select is used by more than one mapping rule, any edits that you make will apply to all of those rules.

   

   The Edit Webhook Event form is displayed.
   
   
    

4. In the Event Name field, update the name, as needed.
5. From the Severity dropdown field, select the severity of the event from the dropdown field, from one of the following: 
   • Info
   • Minor
   • Major
   • Severe
   • Critical
6. Click Done to save your changes. Otherwise, click Cancel.
