What are infrastructure ports?

To promote ports to infrastructure ports

In Entuity, Infrastructure Only is a system content filter that limits the ports displayed in a View to infrastructure ports. Infrastructure ports consist of the following ports:

uplinks, i.e. ports connecting routers with switches.
trunk ports, i.e. ports connecting switches together.
router ports.

To promote ports to infrastructure ports:

You may want to make other ports infrastructure ports.

Navigate to the vipman Trunk Promote module through configure. This module allows you to manually promote selected ports to infrastructure port.
