Introduction:

Administrators, and users who have the Flow Inspection permission, can view flow data against devices and interfaces through dashboards and dashlets, custom charts, and reports.

To view flow data through dashboards and dashlets:

You can view flow data via the Flow dashboard, or by creating/editing your own custom dashboard and adding any number of the following dashlets that relate to flow:

• Flow Data dashlet.
• Flow Summary dashlet.
• Flow-Enabled Devices dashlet.
• Flow TopN Summary dashlet.

You can configure the data displayed in the Flow Data dashlet chart to show the flow data breakdowns that you need to see.

Depending on the context in which you open the Flow dashboard (i.e. from a View, a device or a port), you will be presented with different data options. Please see the article on the Flow dashboard for further information regarding this.

To view flow data through reports:

 Access the Flow Analysis report to monitor flow performance for a selected device's interfaces over a specified reporting period.

RESTful API:

• List network devices for which flow is being collected and stored, and flow history for a specified device.
• List the applications currently configured to support flow.
• List time series by flow data, grouped and filtered according to query parameters.
