Applicable to v23.0 P01 upwards.
The Database Monitoring dashboard is a View-based dashboard that displays information about the databases that are within the selected View. For information on database monitoring in Entuity, see this section.
The Database Monitoring dashboard is a system dashboard. This means that you cannot edit the settings of the dashboard. However, you can create a copy of a system dashboard and edit that copy as you want.
You can monitor databases and their performance metrics. This works by connecting to the database and executing various SQL queries to collect data for streams and attributes that are specific to the new Database type.
The Database Monitoring dashboard contains the following dashlets:
- Database Status - this is a Pie Chart dashlet. This dashlet shows the statuses of the databases in this View.
- Database Type - this is a Pie Chart dashlet. This dashlet shows the types of databases in this View.
- Incidents Summary - this is a Pie Chart dashlet. This dashlet displays the open Database Incidents in this View.
- Databases Instances - this is a Table dashlet. This dashlet lists the databases in the View, including the system version of each database.
