To run a Network Delivery Summary report
The Network Delivery Summary report provides a summary of availability for services, applications, servers and infrastructure devices, depending on which summary panels you wish to include to the report. This report provides information on reachability, status and uptime, as well as the following for each of the abovementioned four components. You can choose to display as many of or all of the four components as you prefer.
- Services Summary
- services with outages.
- total downtime.
- average downtime per service.
- Applications Summary
- applications with outages.
- total unreachability.
- average unreachability per application.
- Servers Summary
- servers with outages.
- total unreachability.
- average unreachability per server.
- Infrastructure Devices Summary
- devices with outages.
- total unreachability.
- average unreachability per device.
To run the Network Delivery Summary report:
- In the Main Menu, click Reports.
- This will open the Reports page. Click Availability Reports.
- This will open the Availability Reports page. Click Network Delivery Perspective.
- This will open the Network Delivery Perspective Options page.
- If you want to reuse previously saved report values, select it in the Use saved values dropdown field.
- Specify the format of the report in the Report format field.
- Specify the View against which the report is to be run in the Please select a View dropdown field. From ENA v18.0 P06 upwards, you can drag Views into this field from the Drop Box.
- Tick any of the following to display their summary information:
- Show Services Summary.
- Show Applications Summary.
- Show Servers Summary.
- Show Infrastructure Devices Summary.
- ENA v18.0 GA upwards: Tick the Use Maintenance box if you want the report to ignore outages during times specified by the Maintenance schedule.
- Specify if you want the Report Period to be a Recent period or across a Range.
- ENA v17.0 P08 upwards: Specify the time zone to which you want the reporting period to apply. By default, this is set to None, which means that the time zone of the host/consolidation server is used.
- Click Save to save your report values, Run to run immediately, or click Cancel.
